We’re out and about in Cuenca. Though we stopped traveling for now…we’re not sitting still. There is much to share in Cuenca, and we just released our first walking video. Check out the beautiful Rio Tomebamba, and stay tuned for more relaxing walks!
March 2020
Due to covid19, the Explore Ecuador crew has stopped traveling in order to reduce the risk of exposure. It’s a difficult choice but one we didn’t make lightly. We are parents and providers and will do what we feel is prudent to protect our family and friends. We look forward to when our crew can safely work together again, and continue sharing the beauty of Ecuador.

We have officially been a channel for one year now! And what a year it’s been exploring Ecuador. We’ve just checked off another box on our bucket list…canyoning and repelling down a waterfall. Can we just say, wow! And, we’re close to uploading our Equator experience, so stay tuned for that. Of course, we’re already thinking of where we’ll go next…I think it might be Baños!
December 2019
Now we are setting our sights on canyoning and finishing up editing on a half-dozen videos that are in the works. Our next video will feature the Equator, near Quito! Other exciting news is that we are now affiliates with travelingmailbox and amazon. By using affiliate links on our site, you can help support our channel without costing you more, for your service/products. It’s win-win!
November 2019
Time flies when you’re having fun! Well, it’s a whole lot of work too. We’ve had an amazing time in Quito, and those segments are in production now. We’ve completed the full video for Quilotoa Crater! We’ve passed 2,500 facebook followers and youtube subscribers…yay! We weathered the paro and put together a video about it to help folks understand that situation.
August 2019
We reached our initial goal of 1,000 subscribers! We’re celebrating with a trip to Quito. We can’t wait to see the sights and sounds there. We’ll be busy editing videos about ikat weavers, Cuenca city parks, an amazing river/hot springs, Quilotoa Crater, the Equator, and much much more!
December 2018
We’ve been busy! With several segments shot and our opening minutes nearly complete, this is forming up to be a great show. There’s already a bit of “buzz” in our home town of Cuenca, with a growing, enthusiastic group of participants. We’re discovering new stories and meeting more people who are willing to share their experiences here. There’s a seemingly endless supply of unique content to show our viewers. Our vision of becoming an informative show for those who seek to expand their horizons is coming to fruition. Keep watching, we launch soon!
